Club Calida Mar Menor or Aldeas de Taray, in Spain is a complex situated beside the Mediterranean sea and approximately one hundred and fifty metres from the shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor Lagoon, which is ideal for swimming and a variety of watersport activities. Opposite the Resort, approximately three hundred metres away, there is a restaurant which is open all year. The nearest golf course is 20kms from the Resort.
The lovely family resort of Club Calida at Mar Menor offers a real taste of Spain with some of Europe's best beaches, golf and water sports facilities on your doorstep. The resort is situated beside the shallow and warm waters of the Mar Menor Lagoon with kilometres of sandy beach which remains relatively uncrowded in high seasons and is ideal for swimming and windsurfing. During the summer the resort is buzzing but you can still find quiet places to lie in the sun and relax. During the off-season months, it is very quiet and is ideal for those looking for rest and relaxation and the warmth.
The historical port of Cartagena is 50kms away, for those who enjoy sightseeing. A car is essential to fully appreciate all this lovely area has to offer.

The superior holiday apartments at Club Calida Mar Menor also known as Aldeas de Taray Club, in Murcia, Spain are on a lovely complex that consists of almost four hundred apartments situated around beautiful garden areas with two outdoor swimming pools, closed in winter. The Resort has two bedroom and three bedroom units sleeping six. Two bedroom units have twin and sofa beds, with a full bathroom, three bedroom units have double and twin bedrooms with two bathrooms. All units have a Satellite television, fans, radiators, irons and fully equipped kitchens with a fridge, electric hob, oven, microwave, washing machine and toaster. Cots are available free of charge, if requested in advance. There is a change of linen, towels and cleaning once a week.
Please note credit cards are not accepted at this Resort and the maximum occupancy is strictly adhered to. Please note the banks will not be open until Monday, so please make sure you have sufficient currency for the weekend, as there is no exchange facility on site.

From Alicante exit the airport in the direction of Murcia A7/AP7. Approx. 29km you need to join the AP7 direction to Cartagena, a section of this road is a toll road, which costs €2.40. This road takes you all the way to El Algar. When you reach El Algar, you will see signs for La Manga.
From Murcia take the directions as above to Cartagena. On reaching La Manga, there is only one main road which runs the entire length of the strip. After 7kms from the start of La Manga, you go over a small hill (only hill on the road- Monte Blanco hill). Look out for a Repsol petrol station on the left-hand side of the dual carriageway, pull up on the right hand side and take the pedestrian crossing across the dual carriageway to reach the Club Calida Office.
UPON ARRIVAL GO TO THE CLUB CALIDA OFFICE TO COLLECT YOUR KEYS. The Reception is NOT situated on the complex but in the Club Office called CLUB CALIDA. All Keys must be collected from the office. The opening hours are outlined below.
