The superior holiday cottages at Scandinavian Village in Aviemore, Scotland are located near the magnificent Cairngorm mountain range, the largest and highest National Nature Reserve in Britain, teeming with a wide and unusual variety of rare wildlife.
Nearby attractions include The CairnGorm Mountain Railway, this funicular railway runs for two kilometres through the Cairngorm ski area and Rothiemurchus Estate a 50km footpath network, tours and amazing activities in beautiful surroundings, activities include clay pigeon shooting, fishing, mountain biking, 4X4 off road driving, quad biking and pony trekking.
From Aviemore you can easily explore most of the Highlands from the Isle of Skye to the superb beaches of the Moray coast. From the ancient mountains of Western Ross to the mysterious depths of Loch Ness. A car is essential to fully explore all this lovely area of north east Scotland has to offer.

The superior holiday cottages at Scandinavian Village in Aviemore, Scotland provide you with your own luxurious holiday home in the very centre of this magnificent area. The village consists of 65 attractive fully equipped homes, with terraces and patios overlooking the private grounds and views beyond. Please note most beds are single bunk beds.
Guests have free use of the Arena Leisure Centre in Aviemore, which has a large swimming pool with flumes, state of the art gym, sauna and steam rooms. Items that may be hired free of charge include cots, highchairs, bed guards, stair gates, hairdryers and wheelchairs. Mid week linen and towel change, cleaning, kitchen packs, bathroom packs and replacement keys are available for an extra charge.
The Resort Reception is open until 2000 hours, any guests arriving after this time can collect room keys at the Cairngorm Hotel, opposite the train station.

To reach Scandinavian Village in Aviemore, Scotland if travelling by car from the south, follow the route to Perth and take the A9 for approximately 80 miles until signs for Aviemore. Leave the A9 and follow the B9152 into Aviemore. Just before the Railway Station on your right, turn left. This takes you to the Aviemore Centre access road. Approximately 400 yards on this road you will see Scandinavian Village on the left hand side.
If travelling from the north via the A9, take the Aviemore turn off. Once in Aviemore continue along the main street until you see the Tesco supermarket on your right hand side, then the Cairngorm Hotel. Take the first right turn after the Cairngorm Hotel. This takes you on to the Aviemore Centre ring road as above.
