Visit the Colosseum and imagine the roar of 70 000 spectators as gladiators did battle, marvel in quiet amazement at the size and splendour of St Peter's Basilica, or simply relax in a cosy restaurant and enjoy Italy's fine cuisine. Rome abounds with possibilities.

Trianon Borgo Pio is located in the San Peter's area of the city, right at the gates of the Vatican. Within five minutes it is possible to walk along the pretty cobbled streets on which the apartments are situated and arrive right to the heart of St Peter's Square. However, despite its central location, Trianon Borgo Pio is a very relaxing place to stay. Situated on a narrow cobbled street opposite a pedestrian square, the apartments feel far from the chaos of the city. It would be easy to spend weeks exploring the Vatican by foot, but if you decide to go further afield, the nearest Metro station, Ottaviano is only a ten minute walk away, and gives easy access to the city's many other sites.
The apartments themselves are divided into two types. Remo apartments offer one bedroom and spaciously accommodate two people. There is a separate kitchen equipped with microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as a bathroom with shower. Meanwhile Romolo apartments can easily accommodate up to four people with one double bedroom, a living room with sofa bed, and a fully equipped kitchen including an electric oven. Both apartment types offer ample kitchen space with a dining table for meal times.

On arrival at the airport, catch the train (Leonardo Da Vinci airport) or coach (Ciampino airport) to Rome Termini station. From here catch the underground (Metro) Line A to Ottaviano-San Pietro station.
Once you are out of Ottaviano underground station walk along Ottaviano Street till you reach Piazza Risorgimento, cross the square and continue in the direction of St Peter's. Then go left on Borgo Vittorio Street (from the square this is the 3rd street on the left). After a few hundred meters you are in Piazza delle Vaschette 13 and Trianon Borgo Pio.
