Situated on the London Excel Exhibition Centre complex in East London's Docklands, a stay at the Grainstore Apartments offers a rather different way to experience London. Just minutes from the buzzing financial centre of Canary Wharf with its myriad restaurants, bars and shops, and steps from all the facilities that the Excel Centre has to offer, there is plenty to see and do in the local area. A journey of around half an hour on the tube whisks the visitor into London's West End, but the Royal Victoria Dock, next to which the apartments are situated, offers a more peaceful alternative to a central London location. Strolling along the waterfront or relaxing in one of the local cafes will make you feel a long way from the hustle and bustle of the city if you need to slow the pace down a little, while a quick train ride on the scenic Docklands Light Railway will soon return you right to the heart of London.
There are many world famous attractions nearby, including the O2 arena, where you can catch some of the world's biggest bands and performers, as well as Greenwich Park and Observatory and the Cutty Sark tall-ship.
Within an easy journey on the Underground are the Tower of London and Tower Bridge (around 20 minutes), while all of London's other main attractions also lie within easy reach using the very regular underground services.

Originally a grain warehouse serving London's Royal Victoria Dock, this Nineteenth Century Grade II listed building has undergone a thorough transformation, and is now home to a selection of modern luxury apartments. Internally, the apartments are bright and spacious, and have been constructed, designed and furnished to high specifications to ensure a comfortable stay . Each features an open-plan kitchen which is fully equipped if you wish to cook for yourself, while the spacious lounge area with flat screen TV and DVD player offers an ideal place to relax after a busy day in town. Wireless internet is also available throughout.
Through the large windows, each apartment overlooks an attractive internal courtyard, and in nice weather guests can enjoy rare outdoor space in London from their own private balcony, featuring outdoor furniture.

The nearest station is Custom House on the Docklands Light Railway (DLR). This is easily accessed by the rest of the London underground network, either via the Jubilee line at Canning Town or the DLR from Bank. From the station, take the overpass towards Excel. From here, take the steps down onto Western Gateway. Go straight ahead for 50 m and the Grainstore Apartments are on your right hand side.
