Avon Ri Lakeshore Resort enjoys a stunning location, nestling on the shores of Blessington Lake, behind which rise the mountains of County Wicklow. Just 45 minutes from Dublin city centre, one of Europe's most popular city break locations, Avon Ri really does offer the best of both the beautiful Irish countryside as well as being within easy reach of the country's frenetic capital city.
Blessington lake offers fine recreational opportunities, from fishing to wind-surfing, while only a few minutes drive away the visitor can find themselves amongst some of Irelands most dramatic mountain scenery. No trip to County Wicklow would be complete without visiting Glendalough, with its brooding peaks, shimmering loughs and monastic settlement. This area forms the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park, which is almost on the doorstep of Avon Ri.
Natural splendour is not all there is to this diverse area of Ireland though. In complete contrast to the Wicklow Mountains, Dublin offers the visitor the hustle and bustle of a major European city. World renowned for its Craic, Dublin is a city that it is hard to leave. Enjoy the beautiful Georgian architecture, or visit one of the city's many lively pubs; all the sights and sounds of Dublin can be achieved in a day trip from Avon Ri.

Accommodation at Avon Rí in County Wicklow consists of 39 luxury self catering townhouses with stunning views of either Blessington Lake or the Wicklow countryside. Each self-catering townhouse comprises 3 large bedrooms with en-suite facilities, and a magnificent open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with fireplace.
The townhouses accommodate up to six people each and are equipped to a very high standard, with all the appliances of a private home (cable TV, washing machine, cooker, microwave and dishwasher) to make sure guests have everything they need for their stay while at Avon Rí. Each townhouse is extremely spacious and has been plushly furnished throughout.
Avon Rí clubhouse consists of the main reception lobby, Il Lago restaurant (with deck overlooking Blessington and the Wicklow Countryside), the swimming pool facilities, and the reception for all the outdoor activities. Upstairs are the Avon Rí café bar, the gym room, and a number of function and meeting rooms for occasions and events of all types.
For the more active, Avon Ri resort offers numerous outdoor activities. Why not try kayaking on the beautiful Blessington Lake, test your archery skills, or try clay pidgeon shooting. Or of you prefer something more sedate, there is also excellent fishing in the area.

From Dublin airport make your way onto the M50 motorway, and travel south around Dublin. At the junction with the N7, turn right, signed towards Naas. After 5 km, turn left onto the N82, and then turn right onto the N81, signed towards Blessington. Continue onwards through the town of Blessington until a sign to Avon Ri signals a left turn. Avon Ri Lakeshore Resort is situated 1 km down this road.

There will be an additional charge for gas and electricity measured by meter reading.
Pets are welcome at Avon Ri for an additional cost of £50 per pet. This must be mentioned at time of booking and is payable on arrival at the resort.
