There are many trips available from the Resort, ranging from snorkelling, fishing trips to sunset cruises. Island Resort & Golf Club is conveniently located within a short walk of the International Bazaar. The Resort can organize tours to the Garden of the Groves and Hydro Flora Garden or take the shuttle bus to the beach, which is 1.5 miles away or enjoy shopping at Freeport's Straw Market or Lucayan Market Place.

The lovely holiday apartments at Island Resort & Golf Club on Grand Bahama Island are tastefully and comfortably decorated, with fully equipped kitchens.
The quiet, peaceful location allows for a family-oriented atmosphere, where you can swim in the heated outdoor swimming pool or enjoy a cookout at the picnic area.
Please note there is a $25 key deposit and a $25 utilities surcharge deposit payable by cash, travellers cheque, personal cheque, Visa or Mastercard. The deposits are refundable if utilities usage does not exceed 170 kilowatt hours per week. A hotel tax of $12 per unit/week is payable upon check in. The Freeport departure tax is approximately $18 per person.

To reach the Island Resort & Golf Club in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, from the airport turn left onto the Grand Bahama Highway onto Mall Drive. Head south onto Pinta Drive, then turn right onto Rum Cay Road. The Resort is situated on the left. Please remember to drive on the left hand side of the road. If you are planning to arrive outside office hours, i.e. after 2000 hours please contact Reception prior to your arrival. A taxi is recommended for transportation to the Resort.
