This property makes an excellent base for touring the Yorkshire Dales, with a variety of outdoor activities in all seasons, fishing is available on the nearby River Ure. Within easy reach are the charming market towns of Leyburn, Masham - famous for the Black Sheep Brewery, Bedale, Richmond, Middleham Castle, Castle Howard, Fountains Abbey and Riveaulx Abbey, all worth a visit. York with its fine shops, museums and dungeons is less than an hours drive from the property. A car is essential to fully explore this lovely area of North Yorkshire.
