Distance from town: In Reeth there are three public houses, all serving meals, shops/cafés, an ice-cream parlour, various shops and a Craft Centre. Richmond, which is approximately ten miles away, is a very pretty market town with a castle to explore, as well as a larger array of shops, restaurants and takeaways, etc.
Area activities: Reeth is the main village of Swaledale and a good starting point for walks along the river or high fells. Braeside makes an ideal base from which to explore the many delights the area has to offer, a car being essential at this property.
