Beach Cottage in Holme-Next-Sea, Norfolk is an attractive Victorian Carrstone Cottage, just a short walk from the long sandy beach at Holme and situated near the end of the ancient Pedders Way footpath.
The Cottage is located within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which embraces the North Norfolk Heritage Coast. It is a haven for wildlife, attracting bird watchers from all over the country to nature and bird reserves amid the tranquillity of the picturesque dunes and marshes. Holme Dunes Norfolk Wildlife Trust and the Norfolk Ornithological Reserve is just a short walk from the Cottage. The Cottage also looks onto Hunstanton Golf Course, one of a number of excellent courses to be found in the area. The resident owners live next door. Both properties are detached.
The village of Holme provides a marvellous base for exploring the beaches and byways of Norfolk. Royal Sandringham, stately Holkham Hall, Burnham Market, Wells with its harbour and railway and Hunstanton with its entertainments are all within easy reach by car. In addition to its natural attractions, the village also has a pub. The nearest shop is just less than two miles away in Old Hunstanton. Public transport is poor so a car is advisable to fully explore all this lovely area has to offer.

Tastefully decorated and furnished, Beach Cottage in Norfolk is a cosy south facing Cottage within the grounds of Beach House, to accommodate two guests. Downstairs is a living room with colour TV, video, DVD player, CD player, settee, dining table and chairs. The beamed kitchen is fully equipped including an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. The stairs lead up from the living room to a bedroom with twin beds and ensuite bathroom with shower bath. There is no extra charge for electricity or for the oil fired central heating. This lovely cottage has been awarded four stars by the English Tourism Council.
There is a separate laundry room with automatic washing machine, tumble drier and a small freezer available for guests' use. Duvets with covers, bed linen, towels, a kitchen towel, tea towels and tablecloth are all provided.
There is undercover parking within the grounds: garden furniture and barbeque are provided for the use of guests. Sorry the property does not accommodate children under thirteen years of age and does not accept pets.

To reach Beach Cottage in Holme-Next-Sea in Norfolk, take the A149 from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton. Continue on the A149 through Hunstanton past Smithdon High School, go through Old Hunstanton, where the road turns sharply right, over a hump-back bridge until you see a left turn and signposts that direct you to the beach, NNT Reserve and NOA Observatory; there is also a wooden peddars way footpath sign.
Follow the road, at the village pond ignoring the signpost to the village go on over a narrow bridge where the road bends and continue until you see a house (Beach House) at right angles to the road on your left and a field on your right. There is a right hand turning, which you do not take, but watch for two green gates on your left; this is the entrance to the courtyard where you will find Beach Cottage. If you miss the turning you will shortly find yourself in the middle of the golf course. Further details available from the property owner upon confirmation of the booking.
