The holiday apartments at Forest Hills, Spain are perched at the top of the Sierra de Rhonda range like a fairy tale castle. The Resort commands unrivalled views of the mountains to the north and the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the north African hills to the south. Just ten minutes drive away, at nearby Estepona, there’s a delightful promenade to stroll along, with a gently shelving pebble beach offering safe bathing, plus windsurfing, water-skiing and jet skiing. The town also offers a wide selection of bars, restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and budgets, plus a large supermarket on the outskirts.

Meanwhile, at the nearest sandy beach (4km), you’ll find a beachside bar offering drinks and light meals from Easter to the end of October (closed during winter). Inland from the resort lie the famous ‘white villages’, such as Gaucin and Casares, where authentic Andalucia has remained unspoilt for centuries. For those wanting to explore the Costa del Sol, Forest Hills is the ideal location and with so much to see and do, a hire car available from Reception is recommended to make the most of your stay. It should also be noted that there is no bus service from Forest Hills.

MALAGA AIRPORT – FOREST HILLS Total Distance 83 Km Distances are to nearest Km. This route uses TOLL ROADS. Payment can be made in Euros or by credit card. When you collect the car, set your trip metre to zero, this will help you monitor the journey. As you leave the airport terminal, there is only one way out and you should go over a roundabout and see a large San Miguel Brewery on your right. You will see and should follow signs for E15(AP7)/A7 Torremolinos/Cadiz which is the exit after the brewery. The E15(AP7)/A7 is a dual carriageway road and you should avoid speeding and/or overtaking as an early exit from this road is approaching. Keep a look out for a BMW Dealership on your right and look out for further signs for E15(AP7)/A7 Benalmadina/Algeciras. You should take this exit from the dual carriageway which is just after the BMW dealership. This road is also a dual carriageway and is in fact the main coastal motorway which is known as the E15(AP7) A7 from this point until reaching Estepona, you should stay on this road which will become the A7 E15(AP7) TOLL ROAD. You should continue along the A7 E15(AP7) road through two sets of tolls, the first arriving at about Km 33 (Calahonda) and the second arriving at Km 62 (Marbella). Take care in the middle Marbella section of this road NOT to follow directions A7 but to stay on the toll (Peaje) road A7 E15(AP7) Algecira Peaje. At about Km 77 you will see an exit sign for Estepona Este A7, take this exit and follow the road which is A7 for a further 2-3 Km until you approach a large terracotta coloured hotel on your right called Hotel Kempinsky. You need to take the next exit after the Kempinsky signposted Escuela de Arte Ecuestre which is a small road down to a roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout, going under the A7, to another roundabout take the first exit off , follow the road until you come to a juntion, go straight across and continue along this road (NOTE - avoid the right fork into the cement works!!), over a small roundabout and under the Motorway viaduct. Turn right into Forest Hills and follow the road up to another small roundabout, go over the roundabout and you will come to a five way junction. A right turn is indicated by a Seasons sign and you should follow this narrow access road up to the Car park and Reception

Drive through the customs into La Linea turn left at the first crossroads and follow the coast round, heading for Cadiz and Algeciras. When you come to the N340/E-15 you need to head in the direction of Estepona/Malaga, after about 15 minutes, the round will continue into the A-7, and you will be heading away from the coast. There will be a toll to pay WHEN you reach Manilva, staying on the A-7 in the direction of Estepona. NOW when you reach Estepona stay on the main round till it splits you MUST keep to the right hand line (N340) you will pass Estepona on your right. After approx 3km look out for the large terracotta coloured hotel on your right called the Kempinski Hotel. Take the next slip road exit after the Kempinski on your right signposted Escuela de arte Ecuestre. At the roundabout turn left and drive under the main round, at the next round take the second exit (straight on). Then you will come to a cross roads with a STOP sign, go straight on over a small bridge, following the “Seasons” signs go past a building with a circular hole in it, keeping to the right hand side of this building, then after a short while you will come to a fork in the road TAKE the left fork, because the right fork goes into a cement works! At the roundabout go straight over and follow the road which takes you under a motorway, just follow the “Seasons” signs until you come to another fork in the road. Take the right hand fork under the archway and follow the road until you come to a small roundabout, carry straight on at the roundabout. You will then come to a five way junction, straight on is to the tennis club, you need to turn immediately right (calle Dublin), and drive up the hill keeping to the right and you will see the resort entrance and reception in front of you.
